Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Echo + Ember. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and to any applicable Apple App Store terms.
Use of the App
Echo + Ember helps users save and revisit sermon notes, Bible-note references, photos, reflections, voice notes, and daily check-ins. You are responsible for the content you add to your account and for using the app lawfully, respectfully, and in a way that does not interfere with the service or other users.
Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Echo + Ember may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple in-app purchase. Subscription pricing, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by Apple and shown before purchase. Unless canceled, subscriptions renew automatically according to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Access to paid features requires an active membership.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the notes, photos, audio, and reflections you add. You grant Echo + Ember permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the app and provide memory-bank features, including upload processing, OCR, transcription, organization, search, and personalized Echoes.
Generated Content
Some features may organize notes, transcribe voice reflections, summarize uploads, or generate Daily Echo + Ember reflections. Generated content may be incomplete or imperfect. You should review important information before relying on it. Echo + Ember does not guarantee that generated titles, summaries, themes, scripture references, or takeaways will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation.
Faith and Personal Reflection
Echo + Ember is a remembrance and reflection tool. It does not provide pastoral, medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Echo + Ember to upload unlawful, abusive, harmful, or infringing content; violate the rights or privacy of others; impersonate another person; harass or exploit anyone; or submit content you do not have permission to use.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, probe, reverse engineer, bypass limits, evade subscription checks, access another user’s account or data, or misuse upload, storage, account, or AI-processing features.
Bible References and Third-Party Content
Echo + Ember is intended to help you store your own notes and Bible references. You are responsible for ensuring that any Bible text, sermon material, screenshots, or other third-party content you upload is content you are allowed to store and use.
Account Deletion and Data
You may request account deletion from inside the app. Deletion is intended to remove your account and saved memory-bank content, subject to backups, security records, billing records, and legal obligations described in our Privacy Policy.

We work to keep Echo + Ember available, but the app may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, store services, or third-party providers.
